Our partnership

Warm Springs Care Farm is a not for profit 501(c)3 located on the east end of Boise, Idaho and right down the street from our Boise counseling center. The farm is a valued  partner of the Children's Home Society/Warm Springs Counseling Center.

With use of the farm we are able to offer farm-based and outdoor therapies and groups for children, adolescents and young adults and trainings for clinicians through our Warm Springs Institute program.

Therapeutic Groups

There is no better way to connect, be mindful and let go than being outside. The Warm Springs Care Farm offers the perfect setting for our therapeutic groups.

We are so excited to bring Mindfulness Yoga, Music and other Peer groups to the our clients and the youth in our community.

Authentic Farm Care Experience

Pygmy goats, chickens, ducks, ponies, horses and other animals teach patience, kindness, and empathy. Planting and growing edibles and herbs connects us to the earth and grounds us in calming ways.

Animal-Assisted Therapy

Licensed Therapists work with children and adults to support healing and growth using farm-based and animal-assisted psychotherapy.

Other Therapeutic Programs

Goat Training (aka "Kid Training" Leadership), Girls Leadership with Horses, Art at the Farm Workshops, The Resilient Herd Experience for "Helping" Professionals.

Community Engagement

Opportunities for children, teens, adults & groups to volunteer on the farm enable the community to connect with nature and serve the non profit. Everyone benefits! The Rotary Club, Girl Scouts and local churches have all helped the Warm Springs Care Farm in unique ways.

Meet the rest of the team.

Pygmy goats, chickens, ducks, a puppy, and visiting horses all work to provide therapy.
