Hi There!

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW). I grew up in a small town in southeast Idaho, and relocated to Boise where I received my Master’s degree in Social Work from Boise State University.

My background includes medical social work at an inpatient hospital setting, as well as adult behavioral health with the Department of Health and Welfare. I have worked with adult/adolescent populations experiencing crisis, trauma, substance use, and severe and persistent mental illness (Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar).

I highly value compassion and advocating for populations that are disadvantaged and often misunderstood by society. I emphasize a nonjudgmental, supportive, and empathetic approach when working with individuals and groups. The main goal of my work is to help you recognize your own strengths and the power within yourself to heal and grow. My favorite therapeutic approaches are Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Strengths-Based, and Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am also particularly interested in Art Therapy as well as Nature Based Therapy.

When I am not at work, I enjoy crafting, painting, gardening, and spending time outdoors!
