Good day, Boise. I’m listening.

My name is Michelle, and I am a dedicated clinician wanting to fulfill the needs of the youth of the Boise Metropolitan area. I am passionate about providing evidence-based treatment for children, adolescents, and their families who need support. As a mother of four, I understand many children’s/adolescent’s difficulties and milestones.

I received my first Bachelor of Arts in German Language and Literature from the University of Oregon. I experienced many career changes, including 4-years of service in the Navy, where I was a Machinist Mate (part of naval engineering). I made it to the rank of Petty Officer 3rd class. I received my second Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology from the University of Idaho. I completed my Masters of Arts from Pepperdine University, Clinical Psychology, with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Counseling.

I spend time between the downtown Boise office and the Elevate Academy in Caldwell. I specialize in the evidence-based modalities of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). However, I do tie in various therapeutic modalities when applicable. I have mainly worked with teens and young adults with difficulties ranging from depression, anxiety, body image issues, life transitions, and suicidality. I am also an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community.

When I am not working, I spend my time with my four children. I also practice Taekwondo four times a week. I am currently a green belt, intending to make black belt in the future.
