As a long time Boise resident, I am grateful to have had several years of experience working with children and families in a variety of settings here in the Treasure Valley. I am passionate about supporting and empowering families and individuals and welcomes the opportunity to work with people from all walks of life! I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment for all her clients. Whether you want to address current life challenges, past painful experiences, or just want to improve overall life functioning, I would be honored to team up with you and help you to achieve your goals!
My approach to therapy is person-centered and individualized, depending on the client’s needs and goals. Some of the areas that I have personal interest and specialized training in are Attachment Issues, PTSD, Postpartum Challenges, LGBTQ+ issues, and ADHD. I utilize a variety of research-based methods including but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Mindfulness Based Interventions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Internal Family Systems.
Besides providing clinical therapy, I also have a background in school social work, early childhood development and interventions, and working with families effected by domestic violence, sexual assault and other forms of trauma. I earned my master's degree in Social Work from Boise State University and my education also includes a bachelor's degree in Human Development and Psychology from Oregon State University.
