I grew up in rural southern Idaho and moved to Boise in the year 2000. I have lived in the area ever since and don’t see myself leaving any time soon. I enjoy walking around this beautiful area, collecting rocks and trying to pet every animal I see. I love plants, even though I can’t keep them alive, and I have a hard time passing a child without trying to make them smile at least once.

I was lucky enough to get accepted for a front office position in February, 2021. I was a bit nervous at first, because of my own mental health history, but jobs at that time were few and far between and I needed one. It turns out to have been a very good decision for me and has improved my mental health immensely!

I am so fortunate to work with such a compassionate team of people. It brings me such joy to see the contrast in our clients’ personalities when they graduate services, compared to the first time they walk in the door. I hope I get to continue at the Children’s Home Society/Warm Springs Counseling Center for a long time to come!
