Hi There!

I received my Bachelor’s degree in English/Education in 2007 from The College of Idaho and my Master’s degree in Social Work in 2015 from Boise State University. After college, I lived abroad in Chile where I worked on learning Spanish and taught English as a Second Language. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced domestic violence and sexual assault through working at The Women’s and Children’s Alliance and The Gender Equity Center at Boise State University as well as working with children in foster care/adoptions at the Department of Health and Welfare.

I love using child-centered play therapy, person-centered therapy, and mindfulness techniques to help youth and their families develop healthier relationships and communication patterns; and address social, emotional, and behavioral issues. I'm also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and trauma-informed yoga. I work with clients using strengths-based and trauma-informed approaches.

I was born and raised in Idaho and when I'm not in the office, I enjoy spending time in Idaho’s beautiful mountains, forests, lakes, and rivers through hiking, backpacking, Nordic skiing, and paddle boarding.
