Learn to work through relationship wounds by engaging a safe healing relationship of your own.  Use an integrated approach to therapy, using body based, safety-oriented, and relationally focused techniques with clients.  Walk away with a trauma informed tool kit to use as soon as you walk back into your therapy room.

Janelle Stauffer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 15 years experience as a somatic focused EMDR therapist. Shortly after obtaining her masters degree in social work, Janelle gained post graduate education from a variety of trauma and attachment researchers through the LifeSpan Learning Institute, The Institute of Cognitive Sciences, and Zero to Three. Her teachers have included Mary Main, Daniel Seigel, Alan Schore, Peter Levine, Pat Ogden, Katy Oshea and more. She has worked over the years to integrate bottom up approaches to therapy to move away from "talk therapy" and into a body-focused relationally oriented model which she uses regularly in her private practice. Janelle has been providing evidence based training on trauma informed methods since 2012 and has supported a variety of systems in engaging a more trauma informed approach, including schools, hospitals, and organizations. In addition to therapy, Janelle also teaches at Boise State University. She is an avid hiker, has owned a yoga practice, and has served on the Nampa School Board. She enjoys spending time in nature as often as possible and living as open hearted as she can, as often as she can. h
