Developing Behavioral Health Professionals
The mission of Warm Springs Training Institute (WSTI) is to foster professional development of behavioral health providers who serve children and those who care for them.
WSTI provides an internship program for pre-doctoral psychology students. The Training Institute is one of only two internship programs in the state of Idaho accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA), and the only one that specializes in serving children and families.
WSTI provides a professionally supervised, clinical experience for individuals and helps ensure a future supply of skilled therapists for the Treasure Valley and the field of psychology. A unique emphasis of this training program is its collaboration with school districts, state agencies, family physicians, pediatricians, and other non-profit organizations that serve children and families.
