The Children's Home Society of Idaho is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that provides behavioral health programs and related services to children and the families who care for them, regardless of ability to pay. Financial support by donors ensures these services are available to all who need them. All donations made to CHS and its programs remain right here in Idaho.

Online donations can be made by debit or credit card through our secure website. Checks can be made payable to: Children's Home Society of Idaho. Please mail donations to: 740 Warm Springs Avenue, Boise ID 83712.

Tax Deductions and Tax Credits
Your gift is tax deductible on your federal tax return. If you pay Idaho income taxes, all contributions to the Children's Home Society of Idaho are eligible for additional tax credits for gifts to youth, rehabilitation, and educational facilities. Please consult your tax advisor for more information.
Volunteer
Due to the client privacy requirements of the Warm Springs Counseling Center, volunteer opportunities to work directly with clients are limited. However, CHS has many other ways volunteers can assist.
- Administrative work - the marketing staff periodically needs assistance compiling program literature, assembling packets, and other clerical tasks.
- Special Events - CHS hosts two annual fundraisers and various events. Volunteers can assist with setup, tear down, decorating, and other event-related tasks.
- Adopt-a-Family Program - CHS hosts an annual Adopt-a-Family campaign during the holidays. Community members, board members, and staff adopt clients who need assistance and provide gifts and food to them to ensure the holidays are a special time.
